Crazyhorse Crazyhorse has been publishing the best established and emerging writers for over 50 years. Each year Crazyhorse offers the Crazyhorse Fiction Prize for a single short story, the Lynda Hull Memorial Poetry Prize for a single poem, and now the Crazyhorse Nonfiction Prize. The competition is open to all. Submit online in the month of January. The prize awards are $2000 for each genre, and the winning story, poem, and essay are published in Crazyhorse.
