STILL POINT ARTS QUARTERLY has a clear focus on art, artists, and artistry, as it explores issues of expression, imagination, and inspiration. Each issue includes extensive portfolios of contemporary artists as well as articles, essays, fiction, and poetry about art, artists, and artistry. STILL POINT ARTS QUARTERLY has been praised for its rich content, magnificent reproduction of artwork, and splendid layout and design. It is, quite simply, a beautiful publication. Intended for artists as well as art enthusiasts.

Stone Canoe showcases the work of a diverse mix of emerging and well-established visual artists and writers with connections to Upstate New York. In doing so, the journal supports Syracuse University's ongoing efforts to nurture creative community partnerships and seeks to promote a greater awareness of the cultural and intellectual richness that characterizes life in the region.

Our moniker, Stoneboat, was inspired by a gentleman organic farmer who is also a physics professor, computer geek, life insurance actuary, father, husband, and priest in the Hollow Bones Zen Order. He spoke of his need for a stoneboat to clear his field. Similarly, our Stoneboat is made to clear up some of the baggage hanging out in the psychic field of life. We do not subscribe to any particular philosophy or style. We pride ourselves on our eclecticism and varied passions. We want our publication to reflect who we are.

Founded in 1975, Story Quarterly has been publishing emerging and established writers for over 30 years. Through its new affiliation with Rutgers University, Story Quarterly will continue to publish an annual print edition, the first one to appear through Rutgers–Camden in the summer of 2009 and will continue as an online presence that will showcase new work year-round. In addition Story Quarterly will begin to publish creative nonfiction and look to make the interview a staple feature.

Subliminal Interiors is a web-based literary arts magazine dedicated to presenting a variety of sharp, original work by both new and established poets, nonfiction writers, and photographers. Super Arrow is a biannual online journal for experiments in writing and art. Our publication is designed for community and creative risk. The name of the journal is a partial english-to-english homophonic transliteration of "supererogatory," or, beyond what is required. We mean this, whatever that means to you.

We’re interested in undergraduate writing with fresh language, complexity, strong character development, emotional resonance, and momentum. We want to read something we haven’t read before. We want your language to linger in us long after we’ve finished the piece.

Our main aim is to publish the poets and writers in English all over the world. The critical articles, essays, and poems should exhibit the post-modern trends, without obscurity, artificiality and violation of laws of criticism. Taj Mahal Review does not accept compositions founded on violent self-pity, or feelings of egocentricity. We will accept published, unpublished and also simultaneous creations, but Taj Mahal Review does not publish anonymous writings.

Talking Writing is an online monthly literary magazine that supports writers and those interested in literature by encouraging creative discussion of the writing process. Each issue of Talking Writing features the work of a poet, a fiction or creative nonfiction writer, and a visual artist or photographer. TW includes long reviews and personal essays, pieces that are often hard to place in print. We are committed to a new kind of magazine, one that’s dynamic, talky, inspiring, and not too dusty.

Tryst considers just about any genre of work. We don't believe in making some definitive statement about what is or isn't art; or, what we're looking for in terms of the kind of work we're seeking. Just send us work that you care about most ~ don't worry about what you think we'd like. In other words, don't try to second guess our tastes. Have some faith and trust in yourself ~ it'll show in your work.

We want writing that takes risks while still paying attention to craft. We are happy to see prose poems, stories that burst into poems, poems that burst into stories, etc. Mixing genres doesn’t scare us. Of course boring, self-involved, over-inflated pap turns us off. Two Thirds North is an international annual publication of poetry, short fiction, short non-fiction, graphics and photography. We seek works with a view to the world, insight into the details of the human condition and relationships in it. Themes are not specified.

The editors encourage interested authors to read previous issues of Waccamaw before submitting. Our only clear editorial criterion is excellence. Weave is a literary organization and print publication located in Pittsburgh, PA. WomenArts Quarterly Journal is published by Vivace Press at the University of Missouri-St. Louis as an initiative of the Women in the Arts organization. The editors invite submissions of unpublished essays, fiction, poetry, visual art, interviews, and reviews by women  

The Wordsmith Journal Magazine is a monthly online magazine that was birthed in October 2011 and provides a unique and necessary product for discerning readers. Write From Wrong is an online literary magazine that welcomes writers new and old, famous and unknown from all possible crevices in the world. Written River is a literary journal published bi-annually by Hiraeth Press that focuses on poetry and non-fiction prose exploring nature and our relationship to it. Written River marks the confluence of many streams and many voices as they flow back into the nourishing ground of the watershed.
