Paper Nautilus

Founded in 2011, Paper Nautilus has a broad range of tastes. Our only criteria is quality, so whether you specialize in hybrid genres, minimalist experimental short stories, traditional sonnets, you name it—if it's done well, we want to see it. We believe in variety, and gravitate toward producing a magazine that's dynamic, eclectic, and refreshing in our selections. We also strive to support emerging writers, in addition to those already established in their careers, through both our annual print issue and our chapbooks.

PARAGRAPHITI

Look at our website. Look how beautiful the art is, how sonorous the voices. That could be you there up on that pedestal with Mark Brazaitis, Johannes Göransson, Kim Hyesoon. Take a chance. We need bold writing. We need you. The aim of Paragraphiti is to open up whole new avenues into young, fresh, brave writing coming out of the Middle East and East Asia and Europe and the bowels of America, and to make sure that those pieces of writing are stunningly and lovingly framed with art, audio, and occasionally even video.

PDXX Collective

PDXX Collective seeks great writing from emerging feminist writers. Our contributors cover a variety of beats--from food writing to music reviews to short or serialized fiction to poetry. We also accept 1-time contributions from all writers, as long as the writing reflects our focus: literary feminism for the working writer. We are determined to support and promote the work of marginalized writers & we are committed to provoking conversations about gender inequality. Send us your work! http://pdxxcollective.com/about/contact

Petrichor Review

So show us something we’ve seen a million times, make it unrecognizable; hijack our attention. Toy with form, tweak it and coax it out from its dusty, smoke-filled parlor; teach it new tricks, and if you must be arbitrary, at least make it beautiful.

Phoebe

Phoebe prides itself on supporting up-and-coming writers, whose style, form, voice, and subject matter demonstrate a vigorous appeal to the senses, intellect, and emotions of our readers. We choose our writers because we believe their work succeeds at its goals, whether its goals are to uphold or challenge literary tradition.
