The Stoneslide Corrective

We’ll look at any genre. We like serious, comic, lighthearted, dark, emotional, and acerbic. The important factor for us is that the work use story, characters, emotions, and other fundamental elements of storytelling to think, to ask questions, to move the mind forward.

Storm Cellar

We are looking for original literary work of the highest quality, surprising and affecting work that achieves a golden mean between melodrama and mundanity, works where form lives up to content, and both fresh and experienced voices. We welcome submissions by authors from all walks of life. We do place a special emphasis on writers and work connected, one way or another, to the American Midwest. We are always on lookout for vibrant visual art.

Storyacious

Our focus is on imaginative and entertaining storytelling through diverse media, blurring the lines between disciplines and genres: books, music, movies, TV, artwork, photography, etc. We welcome original stories (fiction, non-fiction, poetry) with unusual, eclectic themes, new and fresh perspectives and demonstrating a command of the chosen medium, whether words, images or sounds. Style is just as important as content, voice and form. We’re also very keen on multi-cultural narratives from various parts of the world (in English).
