Dewpoint

Dewpoint is a production of the English honor society at the University of Alabama. We are an award-winning print journal publishing both emerging and established writers. Our only requirement is innovation: the pieces we publish either use old forms to present new ideas or use new forms to reinvigorate old thoughts; they either allow new voices to be heard or force old speakers to change topics. As a product of Tuscaloosa, AL, Dewpoint provides an opportunity for writers to publish their work in a print journal in conversation with some of the most exciting contemporary authors.

Digging Through The Fat

We like experiments and even failures. We relish in the avant-garde. We want to encourage risks and redefine narrative. We are not afraid to publish the cruel, the harsh, and the ugly. We love to laugh and bask in the unexpected joy of reading a well-developed, complex piece of literature. That said, don't try to Wow us. Show us your awesomeness.

The Doctor T. J. Eckleburg Review is a literary and arts journal housed at The Johns Hopkins University, M.A. in Writing Program. Our aesthetic is eclectic, literary mainstream to experimental. We appreciate fusion aesthetics including magical realist, surrealist, metarealist and realist works with an offbeat spin. We value character-focused storytelling and language and welcome both edge and mainstream with punch aesthetics. We like humor that explores the gritty realities of world and human experiences.
