EOAGH: A Journal of the Arts

EOAGH: A Journal of the Arts is concerned with reading as a process, the productive chaos of investigative poetic work. These acts of attention explore the close listening inherent not just in writing but also in being written. Inspired by Whitman's assertion that "Reading is a gymnast's act," we see readings as embodied, interdisciplinary responses that engage with one's environment through ekphrasis, phenomenology, queering, conceptual multiplicity, density and difficulty.

Fickle Muses

Fickle Muses is an online journal of poetry, fiction and art engaged with myth and legend. We feature a poet or fiction writer each week, accompanied by featured artwork. Fiction and poetry submissions should creatively incorporate myth or legend, for example by retelling ancient myths in the context of the contemporary world, reimagining characters and events within earlier contexts, evoking mythologies underlying speculative genres, or otherwise cultivating new growth from our mythic roots. Art submissions are open to any theme or style.

Established in 2011, our goal will always be to give light to the voices that are normally hidden from the literary magazine scene. We're mostly dedicated works of art that step way from the norm; that jump into the strange, unique, and unexpected. Five 2 One Magazine thrives on the works by our contributors who could be seen as the freaks, weirdoes, black sheep, and free thinkers of society. We're very much looking forward to reading your work.

JERRY Magazine

We accept work in all shapes and sizes with an aim to keep track of new, interesting material, and find consistent, intelligent work. We are interested in the cacophony of voices that exist in emerging and established writers alike. These several voices can be disparate, but given the right opportunity—not necessarily a common subject or genre, but a consistent investigation of beauty, form and imagination—they can reach harmony. JERRY strives to provide an opportunity for a wide array of voices to be brought together because of their strength of purpose, conception, and realization.
