[PANK]

The nonprofit literary arts collective [PANK] — PANK Magazine, Pankmagazine.com, the Little Book Series, the Invasion Readings — fosters access to emerging and experimental poetry and prose, publishing the brightest and most promising writers for the most adventurous readers. To the end of the road, up country, a far shore, the edge of things, to a place of amalgamation and unplumbed depths, where the known is made and unmade, and where unimagined futures are born, a place inhabited by contradictions, a place of quirk and startling anomaly, [PANK], no soft pink hands allowed.

Pacifica Literary Review

We publish literary prose, (creative non-fiction & fiction), poetry, art, photography, and author interviews. We let loose the transformative properties of the Pacific waters into magazine form. Here is storytelling, things that are new, things that are blue, and the hymn-like old, the ancestral. Here are migrating whales and ferry rides, fishing boats, conifer covered land, fresh victuals, the sound of rain, secrets, rants, electric sunlight, coffee. We humbly present page-space for metamorphosis, for the imprinting of the ocean, for the printing of ourselves.

Painted Bride Quarterly

Painted Bride Quarterly’s editorial staff is triangulated out of Philadelphia, NYC, & Abu Dhabi, with a community-based process for work. PBQ pioneered the bridge between print & online, publishing all work in online quarterly issues & on print annuals. PBQ publishes poems, stories, & non-fiction that represent the individual, with a preference for the clever, irreverent, & urbane. Our authors, both emerging & established, are published in alternating themed & unthemed issues. Founded in 1973 at the Painted Bride Arts Center in Philadelphia, PBQ is currently housed at Drexel University.
