Editorial Focus

An in-print and online literary journal, SFLR features work by local, national, and international writers and artists. Each issue of SFLR has a suggested theme; the 2023-2024 SFLR theme is “Lovely, Dark, and Deep: Journeys Real and Imagined.” SFLR is committed to promoting a diverse range of writers and artists from New Mexico and beyond.

Tips From the Editor

The Santa Fe Literary Review invites free electronic submissions (Submittable) of dramatic writing/screenplay excerpts, creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry. This year’s theme is “Bloodlines: Lineage, Inheritance, and Legacy.” Via Submittable, please submit typed, double-spaced submissions of 2,000 words or less, an optional cover letter, and/or a bio.
