7:30 to 8:00 PM: Speaker - Andrea Susan Glass, of WritersWay and The Ebook Academy, presents on the topic of "Turn Your Book Into A Business."
Few authors make a ton of money from their first book, but in fiction, you can build a business by creating a series, attracting loyal fans, and thus turning a profit. In nonfiction, you can add workbooks, journals, coaching, classes, and more to build a business and see real profits. Your book is just the beginning as you build your brand and turn your book into a business.
8:00 to 8:30 PM: Mastermind Spotlight. We will draw names for the opportunity to receive a 5-minute spotlight slot to present a challenge you are having and receive feedback from the group. (NFAA Authority members receive priority placement in the spotlight.)
*Drawing for Door Prizes - Optional: Bring a prize to donate to the drawing, such as a copy of your latest book.

Overview: We meet on the third Friday each month to discuss the business side of writing, publishing and promoting nonfiction books. First-time visitors to an NFAA local chapter are not required to be members of the Nonfiction Authors Association, however, if you'd return to a second meeting and beyond (and we hope you do!), we ask that you join us online (free memberships are available): http://NonfictionAuthorsAssociation.com.
We welcome experienced and aspiring writers of nonfiction. Attendees are also invited to participate in our unique Mastermind Group Spotlight where three to five participants can present an issue, question or challenge related to the publishing journey and receive feedback from the rest of the group. This is a wildly popular feature of our meetings!
