Wow...is there like a PDF of that online? Why would a bad childhood go hand in hand with what they euphemistically call 'diversity'?

I got into Alabama, then needed surgery plus other stuff. So decided to wait and reapply this year. Sad indeed, I'd kick myself if I didn't have screws in my foot :)

These are the criteria for 'diversity':

1. A history of overcoming disadvantage
2. First-generation college student
3. Raised in a single-parent household
4. Member of an underrepresented minority group (American Indian or Alaskan native, Black/African American, Mexican American, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, Puerto Rican, Other Hispanic).
