Speakeasy Check-in and Get Togethers! Can't Post

Here's a check-in spot for folks who've already completed their MFA. Where did you go to school? Where did you completed your degree? Compare notes with each other and with soon-to-be MFA students.

This topic is also for announcements about getting together in real time. After all of the acceptances, rejections and waitlisting is over, you might be thinking about meeting the people with which you've shared so much.

If you're considering a get together and would like to see if there's any interest, post your details here. If you get any responses, then iron out the rest using the private message feature or in email.

NYC MFA Meetup: Sat. 4/1 11 a.m. at Cornelia Street Cafe Can't Post

Sibyline is organizing a get together and she wants you to know this--->

Please join your fellow Speakeasy MFA board posters in New York City (and some folks from out of town) for brunch at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, at the Cornelia Street Cafe, 29 Cornelia Street in the West Village.

We will be sharing not just MFA application horror stories but also work and ideas. This is a great opportunity to meet other writers, regardless of what stage you're at in the application process.

If you're interested, please private message sibyline using the following link (sibyline's private message page). Please include your e-mail address in the message so that she can send you more information about the meetup.

Hope to see you soon!
Meredith (aka sibyline)
