The 2011 Wordstock festival was held from October 8 to October 9 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. The festival features workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as a writing contest, a book fair, readings, and open mikes. Participants in 2011 included fiction writers Jennifer Egan and Anne Enright and Granta editor John Freeman. Visit the website for information about the 2012 festival.
