Editorial Focus
Washington Writers' Publishing House is a non-profit organization that has published over 50 volumes of poetry since 1973 and so far nearly a dozen volumes of fiction. The press sponsors an annual competition for poets and fiction writers living in the Washington-Baltimore area.
Tips from the Editor
We only publish work from writers in the Washington-Baltimore area. We are a collaborative press staffed entirely by volunteers and so winning authors are also expected to become active members working in book production, design, promotion, editing, etc.
