This program offers concentrations in professional writing, literary translation, playwriting, and screenwriting as well as poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. Opportunities are available within the literary translation concentration for students to lead workshops in Mexico at the Casas de Cultura. Students may take writing classes in Spanish addition, the literary journal RiversEdge is produced by the MFA program. A Creative Writing Club sponsors regular workshops, speakers, and social gatherings.
