The 46th annual University of North Dakota Writers Conference will be held from March 25 to March 27 in Grand Forks. This year’s theme is “The Other Half.” The conference offers workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as panel discussions and readings. Participating authors include poets Tara Betts and Carol Muske-Dukes, fiction writers Bonnie Jo Campbell and Gish Jen, nonfiction writer Roxane Gay, and translator Alexandra Grant. Most events are held at the university’s Memorial Union, and all events are free and open to the public. Workshop space is limited; registration is first come, first served.
