The 45th annual University of North Dakota Writers Conference will be held from April 2 to April 4 in Grand Forks. This year’s theme is “Imagine: A Literary Festival on the Prairie.” The conference offers workshops in poetry and fiction, as well as panel discussions and readings. Participating authors include poet Robert Pinsky and fiction writers Geoff Dyer, Jessica Lott, Brian Maxwell, and Colson Whitehead. Most events are held at the university’s Memorial Union, and all events are free and open to the public. Workshop space is limited; registration is first come, first served.
