Two prizes of $1,000 each are given annually to honor books of creative nonfiction by gay and lesbian authors or with gay or lesbian themes published in the United States or Canada in the current year. Anyone may submit a nomination for a book published in 2009 with a $35 entry fee by December 4. Send an SASE or visit the Web site for the required entry form and complete guidelines.
