The Sound of Writing

The first Sound of Writing Autumn Writer’s Retreat for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers was held from October 16 to October 23 at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. Located on 2,500 acres of hiking trails and ski slopes, the Austrian-inspired lodge is run by the von Trapp family portrayed in The Sound of Music. The retreat offers time to write, as well as daily meetings with fiction writer Jan Goldstein and hikes and yoga led by members of the von Trapp family.
