Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival

The 28th annual Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival was held from March 19 to March 23 at various venues in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The festival featured panels, master classes, a book fair, musical events and performances, and walking tours. Participating writers included poet Darrell Bourque; fiction writers Dorothy Allison, Bill Cheng, Victor LaValle, Lorrie Moore, Emily Raboteau, and Justin Torres; and nonfiction writers Hilton Als, John Freeman, Julia Reed, and Dani Shapiro. The cost of a pass to all events was $500. A pass for all master classes was $175; a festival panel pass was $75 ($60 for students, teachers, and seniors), and a one-day panel pass was $30. Tickets to other events ranged from $10 to $100 each. Registration was first come, first served (group discounts are available for groups of five or more). Visit the website for more information.
