Switchback publishes fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, interviews, literary reviews and displays visual art.

Tips From the Editor

Switchback accept pieces that have not been previously published. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, although please inform us if you have sent your piece elsewhere. Shorter pieces are preferred. Submissions should be sent in Microsoft Word format (preferred) or an RTF format. Art submissions should be in jpeg or gif format. We will accept three poems per writer, or one fiction or nonfiction submission per writer. Do not include your name on the piece itself.
