A one-month residency, which includes a $1,500 honorarium, will be given annually to a poet who is working on a manuscript to live and work in the Lawrence House, adjacent to Faulkner's Rowan Oak, near the University of Mississippi campus. The award also includes reimbursement of travel expenses. The poet-in-residence will participate in a reading and visit one to two classes per week at the university. Submit 10 pages of poetry, three references, a resumé, and a personal statement by February 1. There is no entry fee. Visit the Web site for complete guidelines.
