Stone Court Writer-in-Residence

The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation and the Great Barrington Waldorf High School offer two residencies of 8 to 12 weeks in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, to fiction writers with a Southern influence in their work. One residency will start in September 2014, the other in February 2015. Writers who have completed or are pursuing a graduate degree in creative writing, or have completed an undergraduate degree in creative writing in the past five years, are eligible. The resident will be provided with a $250 weekly stipend and a one-bedroom apartment. Transportation and meals are not provided. The resident will teach two master classes every week at the Great Barrington Waldorf High School. Submit via email a short story or a chapter from a novel, a one-page artist statement, résumé, and contact information for two references by July 25. There is no entry fee.
