The 2013 Southern Festival of Books will be held from October 11 to October 13 on War Memorial Plaza in downtown Nashville. The festival features readings, panels, and book signings. Past participating writers include poets Kevin Brown, Blas Falconer, Jeff Hardin, David Rigsbee, Laura Still, and Dorothy Sutton; fiction writers John Casey, Frank DeFord, Mark Heinz, Audrey Niffenegger, Lydia Peelle, and Ron Rash; and creative nonfiction writers Jid Lee, Adrienne Martini, and Jim Minick.
