Passages North 

Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in Passages North, Northern Michigan University’s literary magazine, are given biennially for a short story and a short short story. For the Waasmode Short Fiction Prize, submit a story of up to 5,000 words; Rebecca Johns will judge. For the Just Desserts Short Short Fiction Prize, submit a story of up to 1,000 words; Jennifer Howard will judge. All entrants will receive a copy of the 2010 issue of Passages North.
