The inaugural River Teeth Conference was held from May 18 to May 20 at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. The conference offers individual creative nonfiction manuscript consultations as well as seminars, readings, open mikes, and book signings. Faculty and visiting writers in 2012 included Robert Atwan, Bob Cowser Jr., Hope Edelman, Daniel W. Lehman, Joe Mackall, and Ana Maria Spagna.
