The Renaissance House Residency Program, sponsored by the Helene and Dorothy West Foundation for Artists in Need, offers residencies of one or two weeks from June to September to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers in Oak Bluffs on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. The residency includes classes, lectures, and time to write. Participating writers include fiction writer Elizabeth Benedict, and creative nonfiction writers Jessica Harris, Susan Klein, and Jill Nelson. The residency fee is $700 per week, which includes three meals a day. Applications are considered on a rolling basis; there is no application fee. Send an SASE, call, or e-mail for more information.
