Other Features: 

Because of funding limitations, this program has suspended applications to its MFA program. In its place is offered the intergrated undergraduate/graduate degrees to select undergraduates who will receive an MA in English with a creative writing concentration.

This is an internal program, open to Penn State undergraduates only. Students enter the program at the end of their junior year. Potential transfer students from other colleges are encouraged to look into the program as well.

This program has a cross-genre approach. Faculty place a special emphasis on mentoring writers who are honing their MFA portfolios. Teaching opportunities are available.
