NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS). NYU-SCPS Programs in Writing and Speech offer unique opportunities for adult students to learn from experts in writing and speech through non-credit, continuing education courses, and certificate programs. Program includes courses in creative writing, dramatic writing, journalism, professional writing, writing foundations, and speech and certificates in creative writing, screenwriting, journalism, and communications skills. For the academic year fall 2010 through summer 2011 we seek part-time adjunct faculty in the following areas: Fiction Writing and Creative Nonfiction, Screenwriting and Writing for Television, Journalism and New Media, Business and Professional Writing, Basic Writing Skills, and Speech. MFA recommended for creative writing courses; graduate degree and/or substantial relevant professional experience required for professionally-oriented courses. Teaching experience required.
