Pamela McMaster Yenser was born in Alexandria VA, lived in Roswell NM and Downey CA, and attended grade to grad school in Wichita KS. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho, MA in English from Pittsburg State University, and BA in English from Wichita State University. She has served as an editor at Mikrokosmos; guest poetry editor at The Midwest Quarterly; and university publications writer, editor, and instructor of improv and writing. She currently teaches writing in Albuquerque NM.
