The 3rd annual Oxford Creative Nonfiction Writers Conference and Workshops will be held from May 2 to May 5 on the University of Mississippi campus in Oxford. The conference includes panels, craft discussions, and a pitch session with agents, editors, and publishers. This year's panels include the Art & Craft of Creative Nonfiction, Getting Your Manuscript Ready for Publication, The Writing Life, How to Navigate the New Publishing Landscape, and Finding an Agent and Publisher. In addition, participants can register for a full-day manuscript critique workshop on Friday, May 3. Participating writers and publishing professionals include Lee Gutkind, Dinty Moore, Beth Ann Fennelly, Mike Rosenwald, Julia Reed, Bob Guccione, Jr., Jessica Handler, River Jordan, Lee Martin and Neil White. The cost of the conference, including workshops and pitch session, is $350. Participants can also register for individual events. Early bird registration discounts will be offered until March 30.
