Two prizes of $2,000 each and publication in Nimrod are given annually for works of poetry and short fiction. The runners-up in each category receive $1,000 and publication of their work. U.S. writers may submit a poetry manuscript of 3 to 10 pages or a fiction manuscript of no more than 7,500 words with a $20 entry fee, which includes a one-year subscription to Nimrod, by April 30.
