A prize of $2,500 is given annually to honor a translator whose work has made a valuable contribution to literary translation in the previous year. Publishers may submit four copies of a book-length translation of poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction published in English in the United States or Canada in 2007 and a letter of nomination with a $25 entry fee by March 31.
