The 2013 Library of Congress National Book Festival was held on September 21 and September 22 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The program featured readings and presentations by authors such as poets Juan Felipe Herrera and Natasha Trethewey; fiction writers Margaret Atwood, Don DeLillo, Khaled Hosseini, Barbara Kingsolver, and Joyce Carol Oates; and creative nonfiction writers Marie Arana and Andrew Solomon.
