Muse and the Marketplace Conference

The 11th annual Muse and the Marketplace Conference was held from May 5 to May 6 at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston. The conference, for fiction and creative nonfiction writers, features craft classes, panel discussions, and meetings with agents and editors. Participants in 2012 included fiction and nonfiction authors Alexander Chee, Margot Livesey, Seth Mnookin, Tom Perrotta, Anita Shreve, and Josh Weil; and agents Stuart Bernstein, Regina Brooks, Janet Reid, and many others.
