Michael Simms is the author of four collections of poetry, as well as the co-author of a poetry textbook. Simms is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Autumn House Press, a publisher of trade editions of poetry and fiction, and the Editor-in-Chief of Coal Hill Review, an online publisher of poetry. Simms teaches in the Chatham University MFA program and lives in the historic Mount Washington neighborhood of Pittsburgh with his wife, Eva, and their children.
