Megan Harlan's fiction has appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Cimarron Review, Meridian, Painted Bride Quarterly, and Sycamore Review.
Her first book of poems, MAPMAKING, won the 2009 John Ciardi Prize for Poetry and was published by the University of Missouri's BkMk Press (December 2010). Her poetry has appeared in AGNI Online, American Poetry Review, Poetry Daily, Prairie Schooner, TriQuarterly, and Verse Daily, among other journals, and on PBS Newshour's Poetry Series website.
She holds a master's degree in Creative Writing from New York University and a B.A. in English from Tufts University.
