Author's Bio

Megan Harlan's short stories have appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Cimarron Review, Meridian, Painted Bride Quarterly, and Sycamore Review. Her first book of poems, Mapmaking, won the 2009 John Ciardi Prize for Poetry and is forthcoming from the University of Missouri's BkMk Press, with individual poems appearing in AGNI Online, American Poetry Review, Poetry Daily, Prairie Schooner, and TriQuarterly, among other journals. She holds a master's degree in Creative Writing from New York University and a B.A. in English from Tufts University.
