Workshop and presentation topics that I have created include ‘Litanies and Labyrinths’; ‘Michael Field: Poetic Collaboration between a Victorian Aunt and Niece’; ‘Walking Out of Oneself: Poetry and Labyrinths’; ‘Writing from the Heart’; ‘Writing for Your Life’. Born in Philadelphia, I live in Ithaca, New York, where I've served on the board of Namgyal Monastery, the Dalai Lama's seat in North America. On the writing faculty of Cornell's Arts & Sciences college, I also taught writing at the branch campus in Doha and was a featured poet at the International Al Jazeera Film Festival.
