Description:	Weeklong workshop for writers in all genres. Writing, manuscript review, 25 page private consultation and critique in a remote mountain artists enclave in Western North Carolina. I invite writers to think of writing workshops as places where creativity can surprise us in many forms, from the seed of a new work, to the taking root of a new idea, to the full blossoming of a completed story, poem, or essay. My workshop style is both supportive of the writer’s process and rigorous. We’ll use exercises and techniques that generate new work, shine a bright light on the potential in the work and the opportunities for development, while respecting and supporting the writer in his or her process. I feel I have a special gift for helping writers find the heart of the work, developing it, and making plans for completion.
