Mariposa Poetry Retreat

The first Mariposa Poetry Retreat will be held from October 6 to October 8 at the Capital Retreat Center in the Catoctin Mountains of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. The conference features workshops in poetry and bookmaking, as well as readings by faculty and retreat participants. The faculty in 2011 included poets Kwame Alexander, Naomi Ayala, Monica Hand, Reuben Jackson, and Joseph Ross. The deadline for registration is August 30.
