Mariposa Poetry Retreat

The 2012 Mariposa Poetry Retreat was held from October 6 to October 8 at the Capital Retreat Center, located on 260 acres in the Catoctin Mountains of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, approximately 90 miles north of Washington, D.C. The conference, limited to 25 participants, features workshops, consultations with faculty, panel discussions, and readings. The 2012 faculty included poets Reuben Jackson, E. Ethelbert Miller, Yvette Neisser Moreno, and Kim Roberts. The cost of the conference, which includes meals, was $375 based on single occupancy or $275 based on double occupancy.
