MacDowell Colony
The MacDowell Colony offers residencies of up to two months from June through September to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers on a 450-acre estate near Mt. Monadnock in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Writers are provided with lodging, meals, and studio space. Travel aid and personal expense grants are available based on need. Using the online submission system, submit 6 to 10 poems or up to 15 pages of prose and a project proposal with a $30 application fee by January 15.
