M Literary Residency–India

The M Literary Residency program offers a three-month-long residency in Bangalore, India, to a poet, a fiction writer, or a creative nonfiction writer. The residency must take place between from late 2012 and early 2013. The resident recieves transportation, housing, food, and a $1,000 stipend, and is required to participate in two events in the community. Submit two writing samples totaling no more than 100 lines of poetry or 2,500 words of prose, a project proposal, and contact information for two references by June 29. There is no application fee.
