Lighthouse Lit Fest

The ninth annual Lighthouse Lit Fest was held from June 6 to June 20 at the Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver, Colorado. The conference featured workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as craft classes, one-on-one consultations, publishing panels, and readings. Participating writers included poets John Brehm and Mark Doty; fiction writers Maria Acevedo, Steve Almond, Eleanor Brown, William Haywood Henderson, Gordy Hoffman, Mat Johnson, Erika Krouse, BK Loren, Thomas McNeely, Antonya Nelson, and Gary Schanbacher; and creative nonfiction writers Phyllis Barber, Robin Hemley, Vicki Lindner, Emily Rapp, and Seth Brady Tucker. Tuition was $695 per one weeklong juried workshop, and $375 per one weekend juried workshop. Lodging was available at nearby hotels and inns for a discounted rate.
