A prize of $1,000 and publication by Persea Books, is given annually for a first book of poetry by a U.S. woman poet. The winner will also receive a six-week, all-expenses-paid residency at the Civitella Ranieri Center in Umbria, Italy. Submit a manuscript of 48 to 96 pages with a $25 entry fee by November 2.
