I received a PhD in English/Creative Writing: Fiction from the University of Missouri in 2010. I currently teach creative writing at Eastern Illinois University. My short stories and essays have been published in New Stories from the Midwest, PANK, Midwestern Gothic, Jabberwock Review, and others.
