The Jack Kerouac Writer in Residence Project offers residencies of three months to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers at Jack Kerouac's former cottage home in Orlando, Florida. Residents receive housing and a food stipend of $800. Each resident must give a public reading at the conclusion of his or her stay. Using the electronic submission system, submit 10 pages of poetry or prose, a letter of intent, and a resumé with a $25 application fee by March 31. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
