| Description: | Joan Retallack's Procedural Elegies / Western Civ Cont’d / (Roof) was an ARTFORUM best book of 2010. Other poetry includes Memnoir, MONGRELISME, How To Do Things With Words, and Afterrimages. Retallack is The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Professor of Humanities at Bard College. Juliana Spahr edits with Jena Osman the book series Chain Links and with nineteen other poets she edits the collectively funded Subpress. With David Buuck she wrote Army of Lovers, a book about two friends who are writers in a time of war and ecological collapse (forthcoming from City Lights). |
