Jerry Garcia

Author's Bio

Jerry Garcia is a native of Los Angeles, California who is too old to have been named after The Grateful Dead guitar hero. He spent his childhood fearing the bomb and was a teenager during the Summer of Love. He studied Communication Arts at Loyola Marymount University during the Watergate Era and became a film editor the year Star Wars won the Academy Award for Editing and Woody Allen won the Academy Award for best Direction. He has been a producer and editor of television commercials, documentaries and motion picture previews. He is a past director of the Valley Contemporary Poets and has served on Beyond Baroque's Board of Trustees.
