Jeremy Ingalls Poetry in Translation Award

A prize of $1,000 will be given annually for an English translation of a poem written by a Japanese woman in Japanese that has not previously appeared in English. Translations by woman writers of any nationality are eligible. Sawako Nakayasu will judge. Using the online submission system, submit one poem of 9 to 30 lines, a prose poem, or an excerpt of a longer work, a copy of the original work, and a brief author biography with a $15 entry fee by November 15.
