Author's Bio

Jenny Sadre-Orafai is the author of the chapbooks Weed Over Flower, What Her Hair Says About Her, Dressing the Throat Plate, and Avoid Disaster. Press 53 will publish Paper, Cotton, Leather, her first full-length poetry collection in 2014. Recent poetry has appeared in or is forthcoming in Redivider, Thrush Poetry Journal, RHINO, Pank, The Bakery, Sixth Finch, ILK, iO: A Journal of New American Poetry, and Poemeleon. Recent prose has appeared in or is forthcoming in The Rumpus, The Toast, The Los Angeles Review, and South Loop Review. She is co-founding editor of Josephine Quarterly and an Associate Professor of English at Kennesaw State University.
