Author's Bio

I have published an award-winning novel, a collected works of essays, poems, and short stories, a collection of poetry, and several chapbooks. In the 1970s I had a small press which published illustrated poetry postcards and poetry chapbooks, Piirto Press. I have also written ten scholarly books and am known in the area of the psychology of creativity and talent development, as well as in teacher education and qualitative, arts-based research.
