I have two young girls, the perfect spouse, a high school counseling career I love, a dog that plays fetch, and I get to write. It’s a productive day when I can squeeze in a half hour or so to devote to poetry. In addition to the journals listed here, my poem “The minute hand fell off my clock” received an Honorable Mention designation in the 2001 Kansas Voices Contest. Additional pieces appear in KC Parent Magazine June 2010, September 2010, KC Baby Magazine Fall 2012, Kansas City Voices Magazine 2011,The Whirlybird Anthology of Kansas City Writers, The the Stars Through Difficulties: A Kansas Regna in 150 Voices, and at the KansasPoets.com site.
